Tutoring with a purpose

Build understanding first. Then turn it into better practice.

Tutoring is not an open listing. We start with the student’s actual subject needs and recommend support that can realistically continue.

A considered recommendation

We review the student’s year level, subject, current challenge and what will make the relationship useful.

One-to-one attention

Lessons focus on explaining, questioning and practising at a pace that helps the student take ownership.

Support with clear standards

Tutors are screened, required Working With Children Check details are reviewed, and educational boundaries stay clear.

How matching works

A shortlist, not a lucky dip.

We do not ask every available tutor to race for a student. A member of the team reviews the match, explains the recommendation and checks the fit early.

  1. 01

    Tell us what is happening

Share the student’s year level, subject, goals, preferred delivery and general availability.

  2. 02

    We review the fit

A real person checks subject and year-level experience, teaching approach, availability, location and continuity.

  3. 03

    Receive a considered recommendation

We explain why a tutor or mentor has been recommended before the family starts.

  4. 04

    Check the relationship early

We check in after the first lesson and review the fit again after session three.

Tutoring standards

A good match needs more than a strong mark.

Subject knowledge matters. So do age-appropriate explanation, preparation, reliability, professional boundaries and the ability to check whether the student understands.

Tutoring near you

Start with a location where in-person availability is being matched.

Location pages explain the service clearly without implying a physical centre or automatically available local tutor.

Find the right tutor

Tell us where the student needs support.

Share the year level, subject, preferred delivery, general availability and the main goal. We will use that information to review the fit before recommending a tutor.

Please do not include diagnoses, safeguarding concerns or detailed student records in a general enquiry. We will ask only for information necessary to arrange suitable educational support.

Ready when you are

The right support starts with a considered match.

Tell us what your child needs help with. We will guide you toward tutoring, mentoring or a joined-up plan.
